Create your first pay application

From tracked quantities to a finished application in one step.

Steps

1. Set the period end date. Every entry dated on or before it is counted.
2. Pick the retainage rule and percent. Prior applications set the default.
3. Leave previous payments alone unless the owner paid something other than what the last application asked for.
4. Generate. The PDF downloads and the application appears in the list as a draft.

What it affects

• Nothing on the project. A pay app reads the quantities; it does not change them.

Good to know

• The Excel version in the AIA form is on the application's row (XLSX) once it exists.
• Generating with earlier applications still marked draft is allowed, but they will not be deducted as previous payments — mark them submitted first.
