Terms of Service
These terms govern use of civilvault.com and the CivilVault application ("CivilVault"), provided by ReVault LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using CivilVault you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if you are using it for a company, that company.
Accounts
You need an account to use CivilVault. Keep your password private and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission. A company account's owner and administrators control who in the company can access it and at what role.
Your data
Everything you enter or upload — projects, quantities, documents, contacts — stays yours. You grant us only the rights needed to store, process and display it to you and the people you share it with, including sending uploaded documents to our document-reading provider to extract the fields you request. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for the accuracy of the quantities and pricing you enter. CivilVault produces pay applications and other outputs from your data; you remain responsible for reviewing them before submitting them to an owner, engineer or general contractor.
Acceptable use
Don't use CivilVault to break the law, to interfere with the service or other users, to probe or circumvent its security, or to resell access. Don't upload malicious files. We may suspend accounts that do.
Plans, trials and billing
CivilVault is offered on the plans published at civilvault.com. During early access, use is by invitation and free of charge until we tell you otherwise. When billing launches, paid plans renew automatically until cancelled, trials convert only if you choose a plan, and prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Availability and changes
We work to keep CivilVault available and we tell users about planned maintenance, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We improve CivilVault continuously and may add, change or remove features; if a change removes something material, we will give notice.
Cancelling
You can stop using CivilVault at any time. Ask us to close a company account and we will delete its data within 30 days, after giving you the chance to export it. We may close accounts that violate these terms or that have been unused for an extended period after notice.
Disclaimers and limits
CivilVault is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to CivilVault is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or claims by owners, engineers or general contractors based on documents you prepared with CivilVault.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
