An item is over 100% of its bid quantity

What the "over" flag means and the two ways to handle it.

Steps

1. Scope shows the item in orange with the placed quantity ahead of the bid quantity. Nothing stops you logging more.
2. If the owner will pay the overrun at the unit price, leave it. The pay app bills the measured quantity.
3. If the overrun is extra work, add a change order with the added quantity as its own item so the original bid quantity stays intact for the record.

What it affects

• Remaining on the project header goes negative when earned passes the contract — that is the overrun, not an error.
