Export a project, or everything
Your data is yours. One ZIP per project, or every project at once.
WhereProject header → download icon; Menu → Company → Export everything
Steps
- Open the project and click the download icon next to Share. Tick what to include — pay applications as PDF and AIA-style Excel, the schedule PDF, attachments and photos — and build the ZIP. Keep the tab open; it builds in the browser and nothing leaves your account except the files you already stored.
- Inside: every table as a CSV that opens cleanly in Excel or Numbers (scope, entries, change orders, pay apps and their lines, subs, contacts, locates, schedule, notes, activity), project.json with the raw records for a future import, and folders of attachments named by what they belong to — photos by date and item, plans and specs, sub quotes, locate tickets, pay app files.
- Menu → Company → Export everything does the same for every project at once, with or without attachments. Owners and admins only.
Good to know
- A big attachment set (hundreds of MB) builds fine on a laptop. On a phone, leave attachments unticked and pull those separately.
- The export is also what you'd keep before a completed project ages out under the retention policy.
